Every year, Hilda’s Foundation organizes special events for their clients. One highly anticipated event is our annual women’s and men’s retreat at Deep Creek, featuring guest speakers and enjoyable activities like miniature golf and go-kart racing.
A talent show is a major highlight, allowing everyone to display their skills, from juggling to expressive dancing and poetry reading.
Clients delight in daily catered lunches from local restaurants or eateries.
Through our outreach program, we have the opportunity to engage with the community, providing information on the support, services, and resources we offer. This enables us to make a positive impact on individuals or communities by addressing challenges, promoting well-being, and empowering individuals to enhance their lives.
Last year, Lisbon Methodist Church paid us a visit and generously donated funds during the Christmas holiday season. This donation was used to purchase gifts for our clients’ children. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Reverend Norton and Pastor T.J. of Lisbon Methodist Church for their kind donation.
Women’s Retreat
Our lady clients had a fantastic time at their annual Women’s Retreat at Deep Creek. They enjoyed three days of relaxation, workshops, and bonding in the beautiful natural surroundings. Laughter, friendship, and empowerment filled their days, creating unforgettable memories and strengthening their connections. It was a rejuvenating and inspiring experience that reminded them of the power of unity and sisterhood.
Men’s Retreat
Ensuring the men weren’t left behind, our male clients had an amazing time at their yearly Men’s Retreat at Deep Creek. They relished a week of unwinding, engaging in workshops, and building connections amidst the tranquil natural backdrop. Laughter, companionship, and self-improvement defined their days, creating enduring memories and reinforcing their friendships. Bowling Event
Our clients had a blast at the bowling alley last night! Laughter, cheers, and friendly competition filled the air as they rolled strikes and spares. It was a night of fun, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories for our amazing clients.

Christmas
When clients come together for a Christmas party that includes a festive dinner and gifts, cheer creates a memorable and special event. The evening begins with a welcoming atmosphere, set by twinkling lights, elegant decorations, and perhaps even some seasonal music playing softly in the background. As clients gather for a delicious feast, conversations flow freely, mixing personal anecdotes and laughter. After dinner, the exchange of gifts brings an element of surprise and joy as clients unwrap tokens of appreciation and goodwill.
Fun Day
The rain didn’t stop our fun day, as our clients savored a carefree and delightful experience filled with just food, fun, and games. With no meetings or group activities on the agenda, everyone embraced the opportunity to unwind and simply enjoy each other’s company. Laughter filled the air as people indulged in delicious treats and played lively games. The rain outside did not dampen our spirits. It was a day when worries were set aside and pure enjoyment reigned supreme.
